Child Welfare Services

Two Feathers Native American Family Services acts as the Indian Child Welfare Act representative for the Big Lagoon Rancheria. Although Two Feathers cannot directly intervene for children that are not tribal members of the Big Lagoon Rancheria, Two Feathers staff can assist families in connecting with their tribally designated ICWA representative. As a representative of the Big Lagoon Rancheria, Two Feathers provides advocacy in local and statewide systems that impact all American Indian children in foster care or at risk of entering foster care.
